The BME Systems Foam Breaker is a reusable and fully autoclavable part that mounts on a bioreactor shaft near the top of the vessel.  It breaks the foam into its component parts, releasing the gas and returning the liquid component back to the media.  This part reduces the amount of anti-foam required and saves valuable runs from foam out.

Foam breakers are available for all sizes of Eppendorf Bioflo® bioreactors.  This is a customer favorite!
